Due to changes in the way MSN Messenger 5.0 handles registry keys, Simp 1.x does not natively support it. A workaround is to download and use the following files: MSN_5_EnableSimp.reg MSN_5_DisableSimp.reg - to enable Simp, close MSN Messenger 5.0 but keep Simp active, double-click on the "MSN_5_EnableSimp.reg" file, then Sign Out/Sign In MSN Messenger 5.0. You will normally have to do this only once; however some rare network problems are known to require reapplying that patch. - to disable Simp, do the same thing as above with the "MSN_5_DisableSimp.reg" file. Simp 2.0 Beta natively supports MSN Messenger 5.0. Note: MSN Messenger 5.0 API is not available yet. Consequently, Simp is not able to restart your MSN Messenger 5.0 session.
