SimpPro is easily deployed and configured in a Microsoft Windows domain. Shipped as a MSI file (Microsoft Installer package), SimpPro can be remotely deployed using the unattended installation service (RIS) and remotely configured using group policies (GPO). Users do not have anything to configure, and above all, ca not alter the configuration of their SimpPro! Administrative tasks are performed through the standard Microsoft domain administration tools, thus fully integrating to the daily maintenance of the Windows domain.

SimpPro also supports the Microsoft Public Key Insfrastructure (PKI), simplifying the handling of keys at the end-user, who can quickly be assured of the identity of his contact. Thus, the end-user does not have to enter any password or accept any key when chatting with contacts inside his organization. Keys are administered in a centralized way, using the Microsoft Certificate Manager on the domain controller.

Supported: Active Directory (Windows 2000 or higher) and optionally, Microsoft PKI (Certificate Manager on Windows 2000 or higher). Currently, the MS PKI plugin requires a connection to the LDAP server and can not be used in "off-line" mode. Also, the MS PKI plugin can only be used internally to the company.
