SimpServer for Unix: Instant Messengers, Instant Security |
 |
This is the download page for SimpServer for Unix beta version. Due to cryptography export restrictions in France, we can
for now only distribute SimpServer in binary form. Binaries for other platforms such as *BSD, Sun Solaris will be soon available on this page.
There are a few known limitations in this beta version: only MSN Messenger is currently supported; only the DH Encrypted mode is supported; no SOCKS or HTTP proxy support (requires a direct or NAT'ed connection to the Internet).
To install SimpServer, download the appropriate file for your architecture and uncompress it in /usr/local. This will create a new directory called /usr/local/simp where binaries and help files will be placed.
